NPM Poller 1 minute

Hi Allan,

Can we set the poller in 1 minute time interval? This is due the critical equipment need to be responded in short time.

Yes you can - simply Edit the particular Nodes or Interfaces to set the poll interval.

Or use the Admin panel -> Polling Settings to set it for all nodes/interfaces.

HOWEVER take great care that your polling engine is able to keep the polling rate high enough.

Hi,

Is it fair enough to have poller 1 minute time with HW specs Dell R710 and using windows 2008, SQL standard and objects to be monitored will be 2000+.

Are you changing this setting globally or just on a set of devices? Is SQL on the same box or off box? What does the processor and memory specs look like?
