Going all agents?

Hello fellow Thwackers!

I was curious given the new updates to the Solarwinds agent if you were going to switch your monitoring to it as a standard?   I am STRONGLY leaning this way.   We have a hybrid environment of cloud and private VM that would benefit from a simplified security model around ports to the devices.  

Has anyone done this conversion? 

Just reaching out to get some ideas...

Agents are much better till they are not.

We have a preference for agents for all servers but find

1. they hang more frequently then WMI/SNMP would (still less work maintaining then adding them by hand)
2. they don't play nicely with Network Sonar Discovery AT ALL. Yeah you can check the box but try having one discovery and monitoring profile which needs to meet the needs for ALL your agents. (Come at me bro!)
3. Don't even get me started with byte-byte cloud migrations. I have a custom made resource showing me all the nodes which still think they are both vmware and AWS at the same time! (only fix - delete node and re-add agent one...at...a..time)

Otherwise they are great. Awesome
