What options exist to save the data?
You can archive virtually any information collected by Orion using the Export options available on most every chart resource. This information can be exported to Excel, CSV, or text. You can also Export the any view to PDF using the "Export to PDF" link in the top right of any view.
is there a way to archive all the data on a node in bulk? the way you provide would be very tedious
You can backup the Orion SQL database for archival purposes. That would be the single easiest option available.
so there is no way to archive all the data on a node on the day it's decomm'd and powered off
