Building Dynamic query in Groups

Can you please suggest how to write dynamic query object in groups for the below conditions

I have around 10 nodes each with Caption patterns "ABC" and "DEF".

So if i want to include both the node Caption patterns in same group, so that i will have all nodes with above pattern in same group

and then use to assign to my Application Template for the group i created with above Caption Patterns

So Please help me out how to include both conditions in same group using Captions of nodes(Orion objects)

I'd check the conditions again. Also you can use the question ? mark character as a wildcard to match any number of characters, and the underscore _ to match any single character. Here's a full visual example....

Group objects (two dynamic queries):

Dynamic query 1 conditions:

Go to settings, all settings, then manage groups.

Add a new group and name it etc., the add a dynamic query.

Then name your dynamic query, select Node for the orion object, and then click add condition.

And presto!

Yeah, me too! The dynamic query builder seems to only let you add "AND" conditions, not "OR" conditions. I have the same issue. How do you add "OR" conditions to the Groups Dynamic Queries?

Simply by adding another query... Groups can have multiple dynamic queries that bring nodes etc., into the group. So one for nodes that include ABC, another for DEF.

I somehow solved this issue by adding one group to other group. Where i run different queries in different groups and assign under one common group.

Which resolved my issue. But i understand their is lot of (queries)need to created and make into same group.

I hope support centre try to solve this problem.
