Josh,
It's been a long time since you did they write up regarding our training services. We've expanded the offerings significantly. If you'd like to get refresher on our offerings, drop me a call or a private email.
Here's a contact that I was given for Solarwinds Training. I have not used their services but would be interested in hearing from someone who has. Neither Corona or Sigma Online teaches EOC unless they recently changed their offerings.
Robert
Robert,
We used Sigma for a three day engagement at our site. Our trainer was very knowledgeable about Orion and did a good job walking users through Orion's capabilities. We had groups outside the network team in the training sessions and the material was presented in such a way that server admin and automation team members could see how to best utilize Orion when troubleshooting issues in our environment. Since Sigma provides onsite training, you get the advantage of using your install during the training.
Ashley was great to work with and got us the resource we needed for a successful engagement.
Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, just let me know.
Kevin
I have been at several training classes offered by Corona Technical Services. The Orion class specifically, was offered at a nice hotel not far from DFW airport in Arlington, TX. I bought the all-inclusive package which included room, meals and training. The food was great and the room was very comfortable - and all for a very reasonable price.
The course itself was presented in a relaxed, but professional manner. The instructor was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. There was ample time to answer questions and the instructor did a good job of incorporating real world scenarios from our actual work situations. I left feeling that I had a very good grasp of how to use Orion to do what I need to do on my network.
We considered bringing the Corona engineer onsite, but decided against it for purely logistical reasons. We would have had to set up an entire test network for the duration of the class. There are pros and cons to onsite and offsite classroom approaches I suppose.
Our company plans on taking other classes in the future. I know that they offer training for APM, NCM and NetFlow and probably other SW apps as well. I can highly recommend Corona.
Hi Josh,
Have raised this question on the Sales@Solarwinds.net just now.
We have a local distributor here and we haven't yet received any replies from them yet regarding trainings on Solarwinds Products.
Are there any schedules for training all of Solarwinds Products in a week-schedule?
Regards,
Jedski
Jedski,Great hearing from you. What country are you located in? Are you looking for something local?
Josh
Josh hi,
Philippines. I prefer outside Asian Country if possible. 2 or 3 Engineers from our company will be sent for this training. Tried to contact our local distributor but still got no reply from them. Im looking for trainings in US or in Europe (most preferred) with a big discounts if possible. Kindly remove the accomodation in the qoute if you'll be sending any, and if possible include the all the modules of orion in the training for 2 weeks.
thanks,
jedski
Corona Technical Services does offer training on EOC as well as the ever expanding list of other SolarWinds modules.

I took training at Loop1 Systems just about a year ago and thought it was amazing. I inherited network monitoring when we had a staff change and needed to get up to speed extremely quick. The gentleman that taught our class was one of the founders of the company who was extremely knowledgable and knew how to convey the details being taught. There were alot of labs as well which helped hammer home everything taught in lecture. Take the 5 day course, not 4 day, as the extra day is well worth it.
