DHCP Request time

Is there an Application Monitor to monitor the DHCP request time user experience? I want to get a basline of how long a typical DHCP request process takes on my network.

I'm afraid you didn't look very hard. We didn't ship a built-in template for it (which I'll get fixed), but it's a new component monitor. Try to create a new Template and you'll see DHCP listed under User Experience Monitors. So, no fffttt.

Not in APM, but we are looking at how to best use other technologies to get this data. For now, you could setup IP SLA DHCP operations from your IP SLA capable devices and monitor it via CLI.

So "...an upcoming release..." did not mean APM 3.0?

I thought I had seen mention of DHCP monitoring in 3.0. However, I installed it this morning and....ffffttt...it is not there.
