Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
AIX Diskspace
rr19991029
I know ther have been a few posts on the subject of monitoring AIX/SUN/HP Unix servers with Solarwinds but I would appreciate any help anyone can give me on this.
I've got net-snmp 5.2 runnning under AIX 4.3.3 and I'm trying to monitor it with Orion 7.5. With the standard AIX snmpd I could only monitor the network interfaces, with net-snmp I can now see CPU and Memory Utilisation but I'd really like to monitor disk usage and I can't see this at all. The snmpd conf file states that disk details are reported in the dskTable section of UCD-SNMP-MIB tree. I've added individual disks and the includeAllDisks to the conf file and I can see them listed if I do a snmpwalk.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to anything I can try to get Orion to see the disk info ?
