Liebert and Custom Poller Frustration

We have a bunch of Liebert GTX series UPs with the network monitoring cards in them. I have them setup and communicating via Orion, with no issue. I went to add some custom MIB pollers to the screen. I right click on the device, click on "Assign Custom MIB Pollers" that launches the Assign Custom MIB Pollers window. I then click on "Custom MIB Pollers" button which brings up the "Custom MIB Poller" window. From there I select "new". I assign a device, and then go to Select OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.476.1.1.1.14.

There are no items listed from there. If you click on test you get The OID is not supported.

Do I need to give Solarwinds the OIDs I want to monitor or is my process wrong?

BTW, I used the same process for my cisco gear and made up a few custom pollers for those.

Welcome to my hell. Our varying models of Liebert UPSs, with numerous different network management cards, and different versions of firmware had me pulling my hair out trying to find what OIDs were supported by which UPSs. I had to upgrade the firmware on a few of the management cards to get support for the OIDs that I needed while others I had to replace. In the end I've sworn off Liebert UPSs. The only thing worse than their network management cards is their NForm software.

If you have the Solarwinds Toolset, I recommend doing a MIB walk of the UPS network management card to determine what OIDs are supported by your equipment.
