HP-UX servers hardware monitoring

Hi Folks,

We are monitoring HP-UX servers using SNMP and we can see CPU, Memory and Disk parameters are getting discovered in Solarwinds. Now the ask is to monitor hardware parameters for HP-UX servers like Power, Fan, Chassis, etc. How can we achieve this? Can someone provide more inputs on this.

setup a Custom Poller. As long as all these values are available by SNMP (usually they are) then you can add them in.

There are some standard classes (disk, etc) and if you are too different you will probably want to customise the node view.

Can u share ur SNMP config here if possible? We are trying to make hp ux work via SNMP but facing issues..and is snmp reporting accurate values for performance metrics?
