2 nodes on node list representing the same server (with the same IP address)

I'm testing on my lab latest versions of NPM, NCM and SAM (Orion platform 2018.4) and got something which was not possible before as I remember. When I changed polling method I lost old statistics but there was still one node with changed polling method. Now I have doubled the node - on node list - first time because of WMI polling and second because agent polling. Is it normal in recent version of Orion?

It is possible. If you look at the DB, there are probably 2 entries with the same IP, but different node IDs. Delete the one you don't want.

Is the Node ID same for both the nodes?

Last i knew, a common IP could be multiple nodes in Orion; as many nodes as pollers. On the occasion when I have put in an already used IP into an Add Node page, a notice has popped up stating the IP address is laready under monitoring, and asking whether I want to manage it using a different poller.

They have different Node IDs. I think it may happened when I installed agent except running WMI.

When adding from ADD NODE then of course same IP is not accepted but it happened because of changing polling type. At the beginning was WMI, then I changed to SNMP then installed agent. All those happened on Orion server. Result is that is see it doubled.
