I'm just checking, is there a way to have a UNDP alert update the status of a node? I'd like to have a UPS UNDP alert trigger a node status to warning/critical. I'm getting the following from the server:
Failed to set Custom status value : Critical. Error details: Execution of CustomStatus action with Entity type - Orion.NPM.CustomPollerAssignmentOnNode failed. CustomStatus alerting action works only with Orion.Nodes. |
So I'm under the impression that you can't go from a UNDP alert -> node status change? Can/should this be done with SWQL instead?
