APM, ssh and public keys

from what I can see, if I'm running a custom monitor on a Linux or Solaris host, I have to create an account and ssh is used to pass the script across. As far as I can tell, theres no support for key exchange. Correct?

Hi,

You are correct. You can only configure Username/Password credentials through the GUI.

You should add this Feature Request in the following section of the forum:

http://thwack.com/forums/83.aspx

I am not sure if there is currently an existing workaround that would let you use keys to authenticate against your Linux/Solaris hosts.
