WMI issues on a specific host...

I am having an issues which so far the trouble shooting guide found here has not helped me resolve.

What I have discovered is that this particular host enumerates a smaller number of objects (65) remotely than it does locally (881+).

Does anyone have any bright ideas as to why I might enumerate less objects remotely than I do locally using a domain admin account?

I have checked all of the permissions in the referenced guide and everything looked fine. This is the only host I have that is not working. The server is Windows Server 2008 SP2 x64.

Hi Landon,

Here is another WMI troubleshooting guide that I had found. If you are running Windows 2008 R2 then you might need to disable UAC to help your cause.

Yep, I had a brand new Server 2008 R2 x64 that would not respond to APM WMI until UAC was disabled in the registry and rebooted, then it worked just fine.
