Dynamic change of polling frequency

Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to configure the polling frequency of an application monitor to change automatically when an alert situation is triggered and remain to the new frequency until the alert resets (and then the frequency returns to its normal value).

There is not a default alert action to do this natively. About the only thing I can think of is to use the "Execute an External Program" alert action and have it call a PowerShell script which uses the SDK to update the polling interval.

I'm not aware of anything like this can currently exists within SolarWinds. It is most likely going to be a feature request. Others welcome to provide input if they know of any tricks.

I created a feature request a little bit ago that is basically asking for the same thing. I've seen other software that increases the frequency of the checks when an issue is detected.
