Problem with APM Monitor Services

We are having problems with Solarwinds APM Alert settings:-

We have configured more than 1 monitors on the node and while configuring an alert we have some following details:-

Trigger Condition:

Node Name is equal to DMZMAIL1

Component Name is equal to Windows Service Monitor

Application Name is equal to TrendMicro CGI

Component Status is equal to Unknown

Trigger Actions:

Sending email to a groups and message states

Subject: ${NodeName} ${ComponentName} (Warning)

Message:

${NodeName} ${ApplicationName}

${ApplicationName}
${APM_ApplicationAlertsData.APM_ApplicationAlertsDataDetailsURL}
${ComponentName}

When we test the alert it is not getting the Component name as "SMTP Monitor" rather than "Windows Service Monitor" and all the other variables are respective to "SMTP Monitor" rather than 'Windows Service Monitor".

Please help in rectifying this issue.

The "test" feature doesn't test the trigger, just the action (yes it is silly).

Your trigger looks solid though.

AndyCoates is correct. When you look at the test alert page you'll notice there's no method of selecting an application or component monitor so the exact text you receive from the alert may not be applicable to the application you're testing. Your logic looks sound though, and I don't foresee any issues with the configuration. You should be good.
