At our company we use custom properties to group our servers in various ways. For example, all SQL servers may have the custom property: "Server Role" with SQL as the type. You can then go into Settings > Manage Nodes and you can group by your custom properties. From there, select everything in the group and go to Maintenance Mode > Unmanage Now.
