I'm monitoring a few web servers using AppInsight for IIS, and am having some issues getting the HTTP and/or HTTPS monitors to show 'Up' for some sites. Below is an example of the error message that I'm seeing.
We believe the problem is that "www." is being populated before the IP address. I checked the IIS template (which is just using the out-of-box settings) and didn't see anything there that would be inserting "www." in the IP. I've asked the web developers to check for a field like that on the web server itself, but they are unsure where to look for it. Can anyone tell me where the "www." would be populated from?
The web server is being monitored with an Agent, if that makes any difference.
