Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
SNMP on non-standard 161 port
rstier
Hi,
Has anyone found a workaround to adding devices to network performance monitor that run SNMP on a port other than the standard snmp port (161)? I want to capture snmp statistics but I can't configure the boxes to run on 161 for security reasons and it appears that is the only port the gui would look at during the node add.
Thanks,
Ron

I asked support the same question:
"Thank you for contacting SolarWinds. At this time there isn't a way to change the default SNMP polling port from within our software. This is a good feature request and has been forwarded to our Development team. Please let us know if you need further assistance."
