How does Orion connect to the remote DB using the Database Manager?

I am having a problem keeping the Database Manager tool connected to my remote Orion database.Every time I launch the tool, it says it cannot connect to the database server. If I delete the server, I can re-add it just fine.

My questions is, how does Orion connect using this tool? Is there a port that must be opened bi-directionally between the Orion server and the database server.

I should add that the polloing server shows no indication of losing connection to the server. The synchronization is current, and no services go down.

This is a known bug, also happens to me. We have it in our system to fix in a future release.

I would recommend downloading SQL Management Studio instead. Much more feature robust for managing your DB and you won't have this problem.
