Monitor E1 interface status

Hi everyone

My orion can not monitor the E1 interface status, in basic alert congiuraion, i have check the E1 interface under the Interface Operation Status alert, however, when our E1 link is UP and Down, no any alert for this event. anydody could help me out would be appriciated.
