Availability Report from Report Writer

I am trying to modify the existing availability report to only include sites that were not up 100% of the time. So anything with downtime over the past 24 hours would show up in the report. So to do this, I put a filter on that says to select records where Availability does not equal 100. This pulls up the sites that had downtime the previous day, but it changes the average availability in the report to 0.00% even though they were not down the entire day. Any ideas why that would happen?

Can someone else try it and see if they get the same results?

Try using Historical - Availability Details instead of Daily Node Availability for the last 24 hours. Availability Details works for statistics that have not been summarized yet.

This is the canned report SQL:

SELECT TOP 10000 Nodes.NodeID AS NodeID,
Nodes.VendorIcon AS Vendor_Icon,
Nodes.Caption AS NodeName,
Nodes.IP_Address AS IP_Address,
AVG(ResponseTime.Availability) AS AVERAGE_of_Availability

FROM
Nodes INNER JOIN ResponseTime ON (Nodes.NodeID = ResponseTime.NodeID)

WHERE
( DateTime BETWEEN 39615 AND 39616 )

GROUP BY Nodes.NodeID, Nodes.VendorIcon, Nodes.Caption, Nodes.IP_Address

ORDER BY 5 ASC

This is the modified one to select nodes with less than 100 availability:

Instead of trying to modify an existing report you might have better luck creating a new report. When in the Report Writer try building a new report and in the options try choosing something like Historical - Daily Node Availability. Then in the Select Fields tab you can add the same fields that exist in the pre-built report. After doing so on the Filter Results tab add a condition that looks something like this:

Availability is less than 100

Thanks. I just tried and had the same results when I set it to the past 24 hours. If I spread it out to the past 30 days, it works.
