can anyone tell me if it is possible to add Component statistics to a map ?
I am monitoring a RDS server and i would like to see how many active/idle session there are on the server but show this on a Map..
any help would be good..

I think you can by adding map tooltips.. just make sure that the application/component is added to the map to be able to use it.

Component Statistic is not currently a tooltip macro that can be used in Network Atlas. Below is a list of all application macros that are valid in Network Atlas.

I've always found this a bit limiting, and it's been that way in the product for a very long time (The OP is from 2015). It would be much more useful if we could show statistic data on a map, and I've often wished I could. Doesn't seem like it would be much of a stretch to do it either since we are already exposing some of the component info. There is a feature request you can vote on for this too.
It's annoying but the component statistics arent on the same table as the tooltips we are able to use and Atlas doesn't seem to have any built in capability to hop to the table it needs this data from using the component.currentstatistics.ComponentStatisticData navigation the way you can in other parts of the UI. Hopefully Atlas gets some love and an update.
