Possible to edit SWDiscovery.cfg with additional device types?

We have several devices which are grouped as "Unknown". I know that periodically the database is updated and released via service packs or new versions. After some digging I have reason to believe that the SWDiscovery.cfg file under "C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion" is where these values are pulled from. I was wondering as an interim fix, is it possible to edit this file and add the OID, vendor name, icon etc. manually? If so, how do I do this?

It can't be done manually. Can you open a Support ticket with the details. We regularly update this database with customer requests.

I can, I actually asked about this one before.. Case 49027. But when I did so, I was informed that this database is only updated as part of service packs or new releases, which means only a few times a year, if that. If you can get it updated sooner I'd love to have everything properly categorized.
