Has anyone built an APM template for Dynamics AX? I am looking to monitor it, but don't want to reinvent the wheel if a template is available. Thanks in advance!
I'm interested as well. I think theres a SCOM management pack out there. anyway to reverse engineer it?
Microsoft Dynamics publishes stats as Performance Counters. You may want to look at those to see what you would like to monitor in APM.
Here is a link to the CRM modules performance counters and recommendation from Microsoft about which of those counters should be monitored. AX will have similar counters.
Once you create the template be sure to share with the community by posting it to Content Exchange
there is a SCOM MP available at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6937a1ed-cd58-4361-bb70-76dafcdcb832&displaylang=en&displaylang=en. Unfortunately the MP itself is locked.
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately that is not an answer to the question I was asking which is still "Has anyone built an APM template for dynamics?" I know the counters I want to monitor, I just want to know if I need to build a new template or if one is available.
