Is it possible to have more than 1 'World Map' i.e. 2 instances of a world map displaying different technologies - 1 world map displaying Microwave connected sites and 1 world map displaying ADSL connected sites as separate world maps?
Well there could exist just one world map, but you have more choices I feel:A. Create 1 world map with both technologies and filter them by View limitations on separate views
B. Create those maps by using the Network Atlas - here you can have as many maps as you need
Yes, kind of...
You can only have one map where you edit everything, but on the page where you display the map you can use a custom property filter on the map item like this:
nodes.CustomProperties.Sector='K20'
I think this is a little better than using view limitations since you can then have multiple maps on one page
And if i may piggyback on what Richard Letts just wrote, you could also place multiple copies of the World Map resource on a single page and assign a different filter to each one so that the view shows multiple different maps in separate windows.
