We have a lot of Nagios checks using NRPE currently, and we're looking to move over to using SAM. Is there a good process for how to convert NRPE checks to SAM monitors?
How many things, and what types of things are you monitoring in Nagios? Lots of templates for SAM have been shared, but there won't be one answer for you.
There's a component in SAM called 'Nagios Script' that's supposed to handle them natively. I don't know how well it works because I've never had occasion to use it myself.
