Looking for a way to add the Volume capacity forecast to my alerts. Hardware team is looking for this data not just seeing drive capacity or amount used.
Have you looked at the out-of-the-box capacity forecasting based alerts included with SAM 6.2?
Just duplicated this out the box alert, changed to 30days, and enabled today. Works great except one issue - I have some nodes which have been unreachable since Jan and they were top on the forecast list based on that old data. Can I request that future updates consider age of lastsync - otherwise it's predictive analysis quickly becomes an error of the first kind.
Come to think of it a SWQL filter for last sync would be fine if that could work on these resources?
Actually found the correct SWQL filter for the capacity forecasts to filter out unmanaged or nodes which have not been polled for more then a day.

Hmm.. I would have thought unmanaged nodes/volumes would have been excluded from capacity analysis, but it would seem that I assumed wrong. I'll log this with the great and powerful rob.hock now.
Was looking for a link. Be nice to add the alerts on low disk space the capacity analysis.
