Any idea why Solarwinds can't detect a failed hard drive on an HP Proliant 380 G5? I've tried WMI and SNMP. Do we need HP Insight Manager installed on all of our physical HP boxes? Thanks for your help!
The HP Insight Manager Agent must be installed on the servers monitored by SAM for Hardware Health information to be available. You do not however need to setup, configure, and maintain the HP Insight Manager server. More information can be found in the following KB article and section of the Administrators Guide below.
