Packet Loss Alerts are Inaccurate

I have set up a high packet loss alert that looks like this:

My issue is that these alerts are not accurate at all. when i get an alert (via Slack), i immediately ping (from both my computer and the polling engine) the affected FW and get responses back every time with little latency. What is also weird, is that these alerts take the same amount of time to reset - 12 minutes, the same amount of time the condition must exist for. this happens for every. single. one.

Why would this happen? i can't rely on these alerts because of how inaccurate they are.

Hi rmullal,

This is unusual since the alert you have created seems proper. Still you can try :

1. Confirm there is no other packet loss alert configured with different condition

2. Check packet loss graph of node during alert

3. Try re-create same alert(new) and delete this one
