Displaying Two Interfaces On One Window

I would like to display two different interfaces side by side in one window similar to the Interface Details display. Preferably something like gauges at the top for each interface showing quick and easy percent utilization, historical traffic graphs and maybe one or two others.

How would you do that?

You can create a new view and add custom html resouces for the gauges etc. that you want on the page. First find the gauge or graph you want and click on it's title to get it by itsself in a window. Copy that links URL. For me an example of the URL for an interfaces gauges is:

http://NPMServer:8787/Orion/DetachResource.aspx?ResourceID=44&NetObject=I:22

Then in your custom view add a miscellaneous resource and paste in your url. You can design the layout of the page however you want with specific resouces you want and preview the pages each time you add something until you get it just the way you want it to look.

What do you mean "custom view"? How do I get there? Yea, I'm a noob....

OK, it looks like I have found the place to make a custom view.

Now, I can't seem to figure out how to get the link to the individual interface view to insert into my new view. How do you get the URL for a specific chart in interface details?

Click on the title above the gauges or interface view you want and it will open in a new window. Then copy the link from the browser at top of browser where the URL's are. Paste this into the custom html Miscellaneous resource box and it will add it to your custom view.

There are so many things I'm missing about this.

I got the links to the two charts I want.

First, I'm at my home page, I click on a device, and then the interface (to get to interface details) and then click Customize Page in the upper right. I click the green "+" sign under "Resources in Column 2". I then select " Miscellaneous - Miscellaneous Resources" and then check "Custom HTML" and click Submit. This adds "Custom HTML" at the bottom of column 2 of interface details and I click "Edit". I put one of the links in the bigger white box and click "Submit". When it gets back to the interface details, it displays the text of the URL but not the chart or a way to click on the link.

Part two: Once I get the above figured out, do I create a custom view and put it in a custom menu so that I can easily get to it? How is this best done?
