Disk Usage Alert Macros
bleearg13
Hi all,
I have read through the Alert Macros section and am having problems with getting Alerts to send the data I want for Disk Utilization.
I have an Alert set up to notify me if a Disk on a server is more than 90% full, but I cannot figure out which macro is used to send the value found during polling. For instance, I want my message to appear as such:
Alarm - Disk usage on ${NodeName} is over 90%.
Utilization = xx%
${Date/Time}
How can I display the value of 'xx'?
TIA,
eric

Try using ${PercentUsed} - think it only works in Orion 6.4 and later though.

It's in the on-line help dox:
<www2.solarwinds.net/.../SystemManager.htm>
Specifically here:
<www2.solarwinds.net/.../Alert_Macros.htm
I find the web dox are more up to date than the local help files
in Orion. I think you can even change the help file location to
point to the on-line web admin files.

Thanks a lot - I guess I should use the online help docs instead of the local ones.
