Netpath not establishing any connections

Within the last 2 weeks, all but one of our Netpaths have stopped displaying any data, just displaying the "No Data Found" message.

I deleted all of them and tried making new ones, but none of them are getting any data. I have them going from the main Solarwinds server as well as from remote agents.

It's even more strange that once path would keep working while all others stopped, and no new ones will establish.

I have done the recommended database cleanup, but no improvement.

Case #1073734 has been opened, but have not received a response yet.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

For anyone interested - it appears there were a couple things going on to stop NetPath. First - a corrupt .dets file kept shutting down the RABBITMQ service. Once the corrupt file was removed and the service restarted, it kept running and some of our NetPaths started showing data.

The other cause appears to be a corrupt or missing WinPCap .dll on servers running the agent. I suspect system updates may have caused the .dll problem, since about 6 servers running the NetPath agent stopped working at the same time.

Hi,

I am having the same issue. Where were these .dets files? Are they on the poller or on the Netpath probe server? Also, you mention the WINPCap dll issue. What dll was missing or corrupt? I have uninstalled and installed the WinPcap driver on one of our Netpath probe servers and the issue continues.

I was experiencing this issue. Uninstalled WinCap from agent and reinstalled. Corrected issue.
