Create an WMI template for IIS

I wold like to create a IIS template to monitor up or down with out any tracking of Memory or CPU. I am able to copy the current WMI if it is up orr down but it has the mem an copu I am tryingto avoid.

I think I need the correct sql query but I am not sure how to get that -- if that is what I need

If you just want to know the IIS Service state you can use the Service Status - SNMP Monitor. It does not collect CPU/Memory information. Just running/stopped state of the Windows Service.

Thanks for the response can you please tell me where the template is or configuration – is there a download of a template?

If you want to utilize the Service Status - SNMP Monitor you will need to create your own custom application template for monitoring IIS. The template that's included out-of-the-box with SAM utilizes WMI and RPC for monitoring.
