Component Availability and Data Retention

Hi,

Is component availability summarized by the statistics retention settings?

I have set the detailed statistics retention to be summarized after 3 months(see below image) but it seems a lot of my component availability data from last month has been summarized into hourly data.

Perhaps this settings doesn't summarize component availability as i thought?

i set the days for detail,hourly and daily and after i click submit and come back to check the settings it resets it back to the old settings, any ideas why this is?

Edit: It only goes back to the old values when i check the settings the second time very strange

I'm not able to reproduce that on my server running SAM 6.1.1. The values set are the ones saved. If you're not yet running SAM 6.1.1 I would recommend upgrading. If you're already on SAM 6.1.1 please open a case with support so we can look through your diagnostics and determine what's going on.

I am running SAM 6.1.1,i will open a case with support. Also are these settings being saved in the database? If so which table?
