Server still shows Application down (small grey box) after Template has been removed?

Hope someone can help with these two questions:

1) We currently have an issue where we had templates running on servers that failed due to wrong login and so forth. This (as it should) resultet in a green node with a small grey box. Now we have removed the templates from the server but the node status icon stays the same? Even though there are no templates running and the server detail shows no error. We have tried to rediscover, poll and so forth but the icon remains.

2) We took some HP servers and made a P2V to VMware. They where added to SW when they where physical and had HP Insight running. Even though the servers have been cleaned in every way in device manager and everything HP related has been deleted and show no HP Insight devices in SW.. they still show the old Hardware Health window in server details just with an error that states that it can't communicate? How do we remove the Hardware Healt when there is nothing to unselect in SW?

Ad 1) there can be some record(s) left in NodeChildStatus table created by application that no longer exists, you could try to clean it up manually by "DELETE FROM NodeChildStatus WHERE EntityType LIKE 'Orion.APM%' AND NodeID = YourNodeId" - it should be safe as these records are repopulated automatically by polling

Ive seen this before...we have a additional poller set up and what i ended up doing is cycling the services on the additional poller where the server is assigned too. Not sure if that is the best way but it seemed to be a quick fix.

Do you have any screen shots? im not able to picture what you are trying to do
