definitions of orion gauges

I need some help in defining the following

Packet loss

CPU load

memory used

i did find in the help area some info on "average response time"

i  am having trouble understanding these gauges in orion.... having to do a presenatation

on orion and i just wanted to make sure i understand these concepts.  can someone shed

some light on these?

Packet Loss = I define it as "request time out" in Ping Test hehehe. One or more packets of data traveling accross a network fail to reach it's destination.Lost or dropped of packets

CPU load = Amount of CPU Usage and/or Utilization of a certain device that being polled regardless of what application is running or what it is being used for

Memory Used = Same thing with CPU load, Usage or Utilization of Physical and/or Virtual Memory
