Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
Monitoring Windows Shares with NPM or APM
seudo2k
I have to start monitoring network shares with our Orion setup as we are shutting down our IPMonitor server. I wanted to know if there are any good ways to do this? Could I possibly monitor the tcp ports with APM or can I setup a share monitor directly with NPM.

I confirmed with dev that this can be done using a script. There is one that is shipped in APM 2.0 called FileFind.vbs that can be passed a UNC path as its parameter. It is located in the samplescripts directory.

So would I create a windows Windows Script Monitor and insert the vb code into the script body.
