Are there any plans to support 3PAR InServ storage servers? Or is it currently supported? The Profiler documentation does not specifically list 3PAR as a supported system.

There are a few options for management of this product:

*Natively, via the CLI

*Specialized management console

*CIM API/ SMI-S v1.1/ SNMP

Hi bzeitner, 3par storage devices are supported. Profiler will talk to the embedded smis. Simply make sure the cim is running - Q: How do I enable the Provider?

A: Logon to provider as described above and call “setcim” command
This command can be used to enable or disable certain services on the Provider. 

Q: How do I start the Provider?

A: Logon to provider as described above and call “startcim” .

Once this is done, point profiler to the IP of the 3par array. Use your login and the serial # of the device.
