Customization that I am not sure is possible

I have a few interfaces on certain devices in my network that I look at regularly or need to be able to answer questions about pretty quickly. So is it posibble to make a custom tab that will allow me to view certain interfaces on those specific devices and always be able to look at it?

So when I pull up a page in orion, I want to see those nodes listed, with the current traffic/utilization on specific links.

You can make a custom view then add the Custom Object Resource (COR) to that view. For each interface you need to see just add another COR to that view and assign the relevant interface.

Does that get you what you need?

Ok so i did create a custom view that included all the interface datails I wanted, like todays utilization, traffic transfered, etc. Now how do I add a custom object resource.

Is it also possible to monitor only certain interfaces from a certain node? So can I group interfaces from my core router, then bring them into a custom view.

You can add the custom object resource to the view in Manage Views. When you click the "+" it will be listed under Miscellaneous.

Can someone point me to some online resources for this stuff? Or videos on how to do this because I am not understanding I guess. Sorry. I am very new at this custom view stuff, like 3 days new. I usually can get by with the built in views, but requirements have come across for more indepth monitoring on my network.

If you're monitoring more interfaces than you would like to see in a view, create a custom property (HideThisInterface, or ShowThisInterface, for example), assign to interfaces, and design a view that includes/ excludes based on that property.
