Hi, we are trying to add a Microsoft Failover Cluster 2012/2016 SAM template to one of a number of clusters in our environment. As I understand it you need to add the VIP as a node first then apply the template to the VIP. I have been unable to add the VIP as a node, it just comes up with failed. I have tried using IP address and Cluster name with no success. The IP address and Cluster name resolve correctly in our environment.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
