Hi Everyone,
We were approved for new servers and will be migrating them soon. I was wondering is it possible to install the evaluation software on the new server, point it at the database, ensure that everything is working and then deactivate the old servers licenses and activate them on the new server? Once that is complete migrate the databases to the new database server and reconfigure the new app server to point to the new database server or does this all need to be done at once? My team seems to think we need a whole new set of licenses for this move. Just looking for some information to all this. Also would it cause issues having 2 instances of Solarwinds running on the same network?
