We're in the process of transitioning things around using NPM and SAM, so the current step we're having is moving items from one console to another. We're attempting to add a vSphere server to our console (Where there is already one being monitored), and unfortunately everything that we do results in a failure to even test or register that this is VMWare. I've verified that there is nothing between the firewalls that would be blocking this traffic. We have it under polling, check the box to poll for VMWare, and have attempted different sets of credentials to be able to monitor the device. Unfortunately we always get the same error message:
Test Failed. Cannot login with selected vCenter or ESX credential.
I have attempted to compare the settings between vSphere1 and vSphere2, however I was unable to spot any differences that would allow / deny us from being able to monitor from SolarWinds. Google hasn't really provided much in terms of what could be the issue besides attempting to uninstall / reinstall the Job Engine on Solarwinds. This didn't work.
Can someone help us figure out why we can't add this console to Solarwinds?
