Orion NCM (Network Config Management) Cirrus users left out?

Hey everyone. I dont know about you all, but I am dying to know whats up with this new software. Will Cirrus customers with support be offered this for free. We just purchased Cirrus 4.0 not even a month ago and bought a years support. I am really hoping SW isnt pulling any fast ones here. The live web demo of NCM looks awesome and I would LOVE to implement it.
NCM seems to be what the sales guys proclaimed Cirrus 4.0 was going to be. I was told it was seemlessly intigrated with orion. As all Cirrus users know, that is not the case.

Anyways, heres to hoping (praying even!) that solarwinds is not going to do what I thinkg they are, and that is release this as a seperate product, and us Cirrus users are left with second rate config management. That would truly be a shame and severly tarnish SW great track record of keeping thier customers happy.

NCM is NOT a new product. We've renamed Cirrus (to make our branding match our product stategy), so Orion Network Configuration Manager = Cirrus Configuaration Manager.

The new NCM web console is part of v5.0, and it will be FREE to every Cirrus customer with current maintenance.

NCM has a separate web server, but there is an Orion integration module that will show ConfigMgr resources within Orion Node Details pages, so it's a very strong integration. There are still two databases, but we'll be making that less visible to users soon.

I agree with you and I was curious why SW didn't provide that to us an upgrade before releasing the standalone version. I know they are working on Cirrus v5.0 and I'm hoping and praying too that we see the NCM features in this version very soon. Hopefully, Denny can chime in on this and put us all at ease.

I believe the entire Cirrus community is breathing a collective sigh of relief. Thanks for the clarification and cant wait till 9/29 to implement.

Just to re-iterate. NCM 5.0 is Cirrus v5.0. NCM will work standalone, and it will integrate with NPM. This is 100% good for existing Cirrus customers. And for any NPM customers who have been on this fence about buying Cirrus/NCM, this should put them over the top.
