I am trying to essentially take a system health check of SolarWinds.
I am currently just attempting to understand the monitoring, the load, and the balance of the system. I’m attempting to generate a report that could list off a few things to help me accomplish this but haven’t succeed yet.
Here is what’s I am trying to pull down.
1. Retention settings
2. Intervals
3. Number of nodes monitored
4. Number of components and application monitors
5. List of SolarWinds plugins having problems.
6. List of database statistics.
7. Site performance stats but without running Hubble.
I have already started putting a report together that has a bit of detail but I needed the above to supplement what I already have.
If anyone from loop 1 is reading this it is similar to that system health check you guys do when your evaluating an environment where you grab all those details and find the problems and give the environment a grade.
With my previous employer we had loop 1 on board. I just had forgotten to bring some of these reports over with me. So I’m left with having to recreate from scratch at my current position.
its customizations that I’m trying to do that aren’t really yielding the right results. Does anyone have go to reports they wouldn’t mind sharing with me so I can adapt it to this environment.
