Orion stops gathering statistics

I've got Orion NPM and i've noticed that randomly it will stop gathering statistics (ie all tables will be blank) randomly and I have to restart the services to get it working again (when I restart the services, it says all of them are already running so it's not a case of services not starting or stopping). I'm running orion 2011.1.0 of the core and 10.1.2 of NPM

Something to check here is your Polls Per Second Tuning: set to slightly higher than the recommended values.

If this persists I'd suggest logging a ticket with Support.
