I understand that APM 3.0 doesn't have a HSE option like NPM does. What I would like to hear about is other people's experience using multiple pollers with APM and manually 'failing over' to a hot standby. Our current environment includes two NPM/APM polling servers plus the HSE for NPE. Our idea is to install a third APM poller on the HSE server and, if necessary, move polling functions from a failed APM poller to this third poller. Has anyone done this?
