I'm finding a lot of objects in the template which have 'Performance Counter Not Found'.
Is this a result of credential permissions with WMI (OS) or WMI (SQL)?
Thanks.
Which components are showing a status of "Not Found"? A screenshot might help. Also, how did AppInsight for SQL get applied to the node? Was it assigned manually, was it selected through "List Resources", or Network Sonar Discovery?
I had [maybe] same issue...turned out I applied appInsight like I would a template and it no likey. I ended up removing that, going in and doing a list resources to apply.
That worked for me.
see this thread if you want the play by play.
It was done manually. And it is a mix of components, maybe half or less. Here's a screenshot.
I removed the AppInsight monitor and then went into LIST RESOURCES and selected it and clicked SUBMIT, but - it doesn't show up as a resource now.
I tried this under NODE DETAILS plus by way of MANAGED NODES and it doesn't 'apply'. If I review the resources later it is still unchecked.

Update:
I just added AppInsight manually once again, but this time I did not fill in the Instance or the Port information but allowed it to use default and dynamic port and then got better results. See screenshot.
(However, adding it with List Resources didn't work for me. Also, what Credentials get assigned with this method?)
This appears to be a somewhat reoccurring issue, previously reported by . It's obviously not effecting all users. And to the best of my knowledge this has only been reported to support once. Obviously this isn't normal/expected behavior. As such I'd like you to please open a case with support so we can gather a diagnostic from your machine to determine the cause of the issue. If you do open a case with support, please update this thread with your case number so I can ensure it's routed appropriately.
