Filter Nodes (SQL) Query

When editing the Down Nodes view, I want to only show the nodes that are down if the group they belong to is up. I have tried using the following Filter Nodes (SQL) filter GroupStatus <> 'Down' but it still shows nodes there the group is down.

Can anyone suggest how to do this, or suggest another view that can do this?

The groups and nodes filtering don't interact that cleanly with each other. You can't filter a node list or node resource with group information as there is nothing in the filter that would join the two tables, Nodes and Containers, together. This was somewhat by design by SolarWinds. It's the same logic that keeps limitations on groups from affecting node lists and limitations on nodes from affecting group resources. Maybe as the grouping gets a bit more attention, there will be better integration.

< GroupStatus not like '*Down*' >

I am trying to do this as well, with no luck. Has anything changed in newer versions are are you still unable to filter nodes down based on group status? Thanks!
