SSL Certificate Expiration

Question

I know that this has been a subject on thwack in the past, but I am not having any luck in getting some sort of SSL certificate expiration checks working, I can get something working for a single certificate on a single host. But how do I get all for the certificates for a single server, we run web servers with hundreds of websites on them and I would like to monitor all of the certificate, but not have to add them all one at a time.

Any ideas?

Easy, seamless certificate monitoring for hundreds of web sites/servers across Windows/Linux is still a dream all of us have.

One other product does it fantastically. Someday SolarWinds will do it just as well, I hope.

Hello Golef,

We have trigger conditions set up as below

I want to alert on: Component

The Scope of alert: All objects in my environment

trigger alert when = All Child Conditions must be satisfied (AND)

Component - Component Name (Component Alerting Properties) - is equal to - SSL Certificate Expiration Date Monitor

and

Component - Statistic Data (Component Alerting Properties) - is less than - 30

*30 refers to days
