We are looking to monitor CIFS File Existence, File Change, File/Directory Size, File Share accessibility, etc. I have found other discussions on Thwack that say
that this can be accomplished using Solarwinds SAM, so here are a couple of questions that I have:
1). Can SAM monitor CIFS File Existence, File Change, File/Directory Size, File Share accessibility, or do we need to look at Storage Manager?
2). We have customers with CIFS shares that are only accessible using NTLMv2 authentication, does Solarwinds SAM support this authentication method for monitoring CIFS?
Thanks!
